Now that it's February, the holidays are a distant memory, and we're settling into 2013, I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and the other new members of the EBCA Executive Committee for the 2013 calendar year.

EBCA Elections November 28

EBCA will hold its last general meeting for 2012 Wednsday evening, November 28 at BCCHS room c 113 from 7-9pm.   EBCA members will elect the executive committee for the year 2013.  Please come, renew your membership and vote. Come, speak and listen about community concerns such as schools, development, safety and traffic.

Halloween Parade Canceled

I am sorry to report that the EBCA Halloween parade will be canceled due to Hurricaine Sandy.

Many thanks to all who prepared for this event.  Please pass on this notice to your friends and neighbors and

look for a future posting as to when the Great Zucchini may reappear.

EBCA Halloween Parade Sunday October 28

 Just a reminder that the EBCA Halloween Parade will take place this Sunday,

October 28th at 1:00. The parade will start promptly at Chase Avenue Park at

1:00 and the Great Zucchini will perform at Lynbrook Park at 2:00. Light

refreshments will be available for a small donation to EBCA. Importantly, please

don't forget to bring $15 per adult to renew your EBCA membership (good for the

rest of 2012 and 2013) so that we can continue all of our great EBCA

Meeting Room Change: C113

The EBCA general meeting will be held in Room C113, not C102 as previously stated.

The meeting begins at 7pm and will adjourn before 9pm.

Labor Day Picnic Cancelled

I am sorry to report that EBCA will not be hosting a Labor Day picnic this year.

With the end of vacation and beginning of school, too few people volunteered to help out.
